I've been using since last year a powell 682CEF (now discontinued) for finesse platics applications, typically 8lb line, 1/8 and 3/16oz sinker + small creatures/worms. I really love this rod , it's very light, crisp and responsive, also has a nice flex to protect light lines but good backbone behind it like all powell rods.
Thing is I've always felt attracted to the Cumara cuc68m, heard so many good things about it but never handled one...and now it's on sale on TW and although I do not NEED it because I've got the powell, I'm now hesitating to buy it just because...well you guys know why

Do you thing the cumara is a real step above this powell ? how will the cumara feel and fish compared with the powell ? For example I've always wondered how it's possible that TT team fishes large jigs and deep CB with the cumara provided it's a light rod to cast small baits
For instance I would not fish a 1/4Oz jig with the powell .
