I've been using the Powell Endurance 695CB. It seems up to the task. Quite a few people on here seem to like an extra fast rod for jerks though.

I typically use 2 types of rods for minnow style jerkbaits.. for the Vision 110, nothing beats the old MB Elseil. I will also throw this on a 6'6" MH, fast action shikari SHX blank rod for faster more erratic presentations..

I throw them on a Loomis MBR 782 IMX....Did happen to throw them on the NRX 822 SYR...mostly because I bought the rods and the water was still 36 degrees and I wanted to catch fish on the rod.

This one:

That cut down MHX blank is insane for a 1/2 oz jerkbait, particularly the 110s. Makes a mean stick for 3/8oz spinnerbaits too. Deadly accurate.

Wow...haven't seen this blank maker's name in a long time. Are they anywhere near as good as the original Warrior Elites with the boron resins?

Airrus Co-Matrix 457 6' 6" MH XF is my preferred ITO Vision 110 rod. Just seems right, and catches 'em! I fish with the rod pointing down at 5 to 6 o'clock position. This rod has a lot of backbone.

not as sensitive as the boron rods, but better than IMX !! this blank is the ONE for me, the action is ex fast just for a little , than fast .. the rod loads under pressure down further , it has plenty of back-bone too , I is heavier in power thab the Eliseils is ,,,,there is nothing like it made today that I found , maybe MarK G or JImmy has found one but i haven't .. I would to get another one or thwo made up.. \:D/

I took the easy way out with Loomis JBR753C, after trying both CR722 and CR723. The tip/taper on the JBR feels better to me.
