Looking for 7'6" or 8' MH or H

Post by Ong Jim » Tue Apr 19, 2011 9:49 am

I am searching for a 7'6" MH/H or an 8' MH/H for to pair with a Daiwa Certate for my dad. He does a lot of bank fishing for stripers and need to get 1-3oz sinkers out with good distance. Does anyone make such a rod, or do I need to get a light surf rod?

Thanks in advance.

Im using an Mike Iaconelli 7'6" mh spinning rod but only to 2 oz max for that rod. My other rod is an 10 ft okuma cedros surf rod not too stiff a little bit softer on the tip thats why i like it for bait fishing. You might want to look at the 8 foot cedro surf rod.

Thanks. I over looked Okuma, its a pretty nice rod and matches well with the Certate. There is a 8' Daiwa S Classic Surf rod, but it is bulky.
