two new rods, need help

Post by blaablaablaa » Fri Mar 25, 2011 6:36 am

Even though I said I was done buying rod for the year I came across two deals I could not pass up. I purchased a shimano crucial CRCC70MH 7' m f, and a st.croix PC60MHF 6' mh f. Both are casting rods. I got a great deal on both. My question is what techniques would you use these rods for? I have some ideas but wanted to here what the community thought.

Thanks for reading.

P.S. I got the crucial for $89 and and the st.croix for $60! :D

It seems to me that the Crucial would be a good medium diving crankbait rod (5-10' divers) and the St. Croix would excel at topwaters, jerkbaits & pinpoint casting scenarios.
