Which one did you buy and what are you using it for? Looking to get one this evening.

I'm leaning towards the 7' MH casting.

I just bought a 6'6" Med for fishing small ponds from the shoreline. I really like the rod. I have been using it for senkos, tubes and worms with a Fuego. I like it good enough I am going to be buying more. There are two things I would change, one being the location of the hook keeper (on top of the rod) and I would put some kind of rubber insert in the front reel seat (due to not wanting to mess up my reel), other than that I would not do anything else to them. Very good rods for the money.

I got a 6'6" M to field test in Jan 10. I like it for flat sided cranks and topwaters.
I purchased the 6'6" MH after using the 6'6" M for almost a year. I like it for jerkbaits, shallow cranks and spinnerbaits.
I bought the 7'6" MH for flippin' but sold it when the Verdict was released. I'm actually sorry I did because I'll be ordering a new 7'6" MH.
I bought the 6'9" ML spinning but I didn't like the action. Moderate fast not good for spinning rods.

7' MH is a good all around rod. Definitely a good choice.

I just bought the 6'9"mML spinning rod. I put a Shimano Symetre 2500FJ on it and will use it for small crankbaits, and finesse fishing.

I had 2 of the 7' M m/f, but I sold one of them. I use the one I have for spinnerbaits. I originally planned to use the other for deep cranks but after doing it I realized the trigger rubbed my finger too much. It's not bad with spinnerbaits though, just high resistance lures.

I have a couple of 7'3" MH that I really like. I can fish jigs, spinnerbaits, chatterbaits, senko's, smaller swimbaits, etc with ... very nice rods.

I don't own any, but have played around with many of the Veritas rods at the local Cabelas. The 7' Med. Heavy you mentioned feels like a very good all around round like many others have stated. IMO, I feel the 7' 3" Med. Heavy might be a better choice because it will probably give you a wider range to throw more baits. I know guys that use this rod for many different techniques and is becoming their rod of choice. Best of luck!
