What techniques do you like to use this rod for??? Where does it shine?

That was my issue with the rod. I couldn't figure out what it excelled at. Fished spinnerbaits, jerkbaits, texas rigged worms with it, and none of these techniques felt right. To me, the rod's tip was a pool cue, so the only techniques that felt alright was jig fishing & t-rigged worms. When I jig fish, I'm usually pitching to the bank, and prefer a rod 7ft w/ some bend in the tip.

I would have been better off with the 7MH or 7'1"H Steez, so I sold the 6'7" right away. I still want to try out the 7MH Steez.

I found the 7'mh too limber for worming for me. I would go with the compile x for any worms or jigs.
I use the 7mh for spinnerbaits, chatterbaits, and the spro pop frog around isolated cover.
