rod guides and braid

is there a rod in the 100 dollar price range that will handle braided lines without destroying the guides?

Any ceramic inserts will do fine.
slip bobbing is the laziest way to fish

Before the TT.com server crash, there was a sticky about threads. IIRC, Alconite was pretty much accepted as being what you should have if you were going to use braid.

Of course, my memory is getting bad...... :lol:
