I'm a Dobyns fan. Their service has been outstanding. I used to fish a dog's breakfast of brands to put together the lengths and actions I wanted for my arsenal but found Dobyns had what I wanted within the three series. The consistency of actions, handle options and overall quality pushed me to sell or gift all but two of my previous rods over the past four years. I think I made a good choice.

I've been buying Daiwa lately and some models can be found for large discounts. Love my 13 envy though. All the Dobyns love makes me want to pick one up.

13 Fishing

when i first voted, it was 2011 and i said my favorite was dobyns. it is now 2015 and i only have one dobyns rod left...the rest are mostly megabass and g.loomis NRXs. if i voted now, it'd be g.loomis.

It didn't take me long to make the switch from the dx to the nrx rods either, Loomis by far my favorite. I kept one dx too, dx742c, just a special rod

I voted G.Loomis. I haven't used all those other brands, but to date G.Loomis is yet to disappoint. The only thing that I don't like about G.Loomis is the cork grips, I absolutely detest it to the Nth degree. That's why I would rather to go with Edge Rods now plus it is where Gary Loomis is where he actually designs the rods.

I love my dobyns rods. They really fit the techniques they're made for.

Jackall, Megabass, and hopefully get to try some Evergreens out

It's a tie for me between G. Loomis and Megabass.

I've yet to have a rod for either company that I didn't really enjoy fishing with.
