Powell Max 3D Mag Bass Casting Rod 7'7" Mag MH- 4.9oz
Powell Max 3D Mag Bass Casting Rod 7'9" Mag MH Utility- 5.0 oz

I read on one retail site that they weighed these rods in the 4.6 to 4.7oz range. My scale could have a bias.

Both rods balance about 1/2 inch in front of the nut with a curado E mounted and both have same length butt. Given the power, length and weight of these rods, outstanding balance and great weight.

The 7'7 is a fast to exfast rod. The 7'9 is a Moderate to Fast rod.
