That is crazy that the 893 weighs less than the 853!

Thanks for the weights and to everyone in this thread. Its an excellent Idea and I wish more manufacturers would supply such information.

I was just wondering if anyone could find the weights on a couple rods for me. I have searched through the thread and have not found them.

1.) NRX 803c
2.) Cumulus 7'1'' MHXF

When they use to be up on their website, Shimano listed the Cumulus CMLCX71MH as 3.5 oz. But the one that I have weighs 104.4 grams or 3.68 oz. Close enough I guess.

Rod weight, not so much of a factor if the rod is well balanced.
