core 51 on dx 704

Is a Shimano Core 51 going to work on a DX 704 for pitching?

I have had the Core 51 on the DX704 and now it is on the DX744. The pairings work great together.

That's a GREAT combo for pitching.
The Core 51 can handle just about anything.

I have a Core 51, on a DX702, and I love the combo for small plastics...

I think it would work great. It still is spec'd out as having 10lbs of drag. That is 1lb less than the 'full size' model. IMO, should be plenty.
