Thanks! They really are both awesome rods. One more week and they will be on the deck.

Right on! Don’t be. It’s starting to worry me cause the equipment on my deck is worth more than my entire boat now. ](*,)

I'm starting to get there myself. Of course, boats depreciate rather quickly.

My "only" rod so far this year, a Phase 3 Criffhanger. Sadly everything is iced up for the moment so all I have been able to do is sadly cast it into a tiny little thawed area by a stormwater inlet.

Really nice combo though. Same here everything is frozen. Counting the days till spring.

Awesome dom! Question though, what are your thoughts of the Steez SV TW on the ci4 reel seat? I thought I've read on here that Diawa reels don't sit well on that reel seat, scuffs the reel feet. Almost hesitant now to fish with my Steez SV TW on my Poison Glorious.

Here's a thread on it I found after a quick search

It would probably be alright if you fold a little electrical tape around the front foot. I've done that with screw down seats known to mar reel feet and it worked for me.
This is the way.

Thanks for the info. I’ve already fished the combo a few times and I love it. I’ve been tossing weightless flukes and light Texas rigs and I took my reel off when putting new line on my spool and didn’t notice any scuffs on it. Good info will look more into it. If I find something I’ll shoot you a pm. By the way it has to be one of the most comfortable reel seats. . thanks.

Thanks for the tip. Might try that one if I notice something. I hardly resell my gear so a scuff here or there doesn’t bother me too much as long as the reel sits good. Thanks

That's me. I don't really part with much, but I want to keep my stuff looking good as long as I can. Some of my reels don't even have covers while others are NEVER uncovered unless I'm fishing or working on them. Even then, things happen. Like you, I'd rather it work well than look good.
This is the way.
