Hook Files

Post by 1nutinthewater » Sun Aug 05, 2018 4:11 pm

for high quality hook file or 2.
I have one maybe 3" long that i must have picked up at a garage sale that is fantastic- very fine. Added a cork for a handle, drilled a whole in the cork for a lanyard and bingo perfect fishing file.
It is just a very small machine file and im sure not made for the fishing industry but is the only nice file i have found. I have the Eze lap and a piece of crap hook file made by pline but they are nearly worthless.

Unable to locate a file so looking for some help in obtaining small files. Have searched online but am tired of searching....

Our tradition is that of the first who sneaked away to the creek when tribe did not really need fish

I use the EZE-Lap pen style sharpeners. Have about 3 now and they are great, saved tons of time re tying and money/hooks/jigheads.
