Which model? I have the previous version and it is a solid reel. I have no experience with the newest LT model, but I have heard very positive things about the LT reels from top to bottom.
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.

I always compare reel weights, and I love the Daiwa Tatula. Getting off topic here, but the Tatula is very nice and light.

Re: fuego spin reels
Has anyone had their Tatula LT or Ballistic LT become Geary after short use ?
Re: fuego spin reels
Ive used my Tatula LTD for about 3 months off and on, it seemed fine before I bought a 15 Exist. Now it feels a little geary.
Actually, I do notice some change, but I wrote it off to utlizing it dusty/dirty conditions in Utah. Figured it needed a good cleaning. All the more reason to find Magseal, whenever possible. I've got a 3k saltist that I have used and abused in the same conditions and it still feels like new.

I've taken it out for a few outings and have been using it exclusively when I need to use spinning gear, and have caught quite a number of bass on it up to 5 pounds. So far it's still performing great for me. I've read that some people say it feels dry on a fast retrieve.Real Pudd legend wrote:Has anyone had their Tatula LT or Ballistic LT become Geary after short use ?
You should maybe send it in to Daiwa or tear it down and do a quick cleaning.
