My first love still loves me 2018

Post by goldrod » Mon Jan 01, 2018 5:04 pm

When i came here some years ago , the IMX 843 was the very first expensive rod i ever brought and it does so many things so well that i was like uh.. I recently got a steez lt and put on it with a 1016 spool in it and now Im so in love with this setup.
Not all chatter baits are the same, the zman ones in my opinion require more of a stout rod while the phenix ones more of a parabolic type rod.. I can assure this one thing to you that the combo of the steez ltd and imx 843 can do the phenix chatterbaits
with no problems. If you are in a pinch and want to throw lighter wire cb. i suggest this rod. Im about to use it for 5/16 jigs as its a bit nippy and I've always wanted to have an Edwin Evers 2016 bassmaster classic day on the water.

Im still throwing s/b with this rod and reel combo but if you want one of the "original" versatile rods, this is one to be had.

Mine, too. I just gave to an old friend who wanted a shorter rod. I remember when that rod was really long! ;)
