NRX 893 and Met MGL, 12# FC
If I have to go less then this I resort to BFS casting combo or god forbid a spinning rig;;; or I just call it a fun day and go home and sit in the boat with a beer

I just realized the title had LIGHT in all caps. The K2 weighs 2.7oz and super balanced.

When I had a 15 Aldebaran for a short time, I found it was a great pitching reel when all the brake blocks were off. I did not like popping the side plate off and putting a brake block to on for me just to cast the reel.

Steez LTD with MB Honeycomb spool.. I don't think i would change a thing.. 10lb test is a beautiful place for it on this rod.

I've looked for the spec-f but its a tough cookie to find.

hmm thats a tough question, each one has its own personality and fun to fish, but currently the steez rd rods are my favs. got the f-spec from plat.co.jp

I have a lot of reels with the SV spool. I also use a Zillion TWS for punching and other heavy stuff. The SV spools are nice for pitching as well as the MagForce reels as well.
