Reason I asked is because I was stuck in traffic.. and thought about my IS73 that i threw that MB honeycomb spool into
and stuck i on the Lami Infinity 735c rod.. that rod to me 12lb test and under is what I used for it.. so i said why not
put the IS on it and pond fish..

I know we talk a lot about finesse set ups but i think a light trig is a step above it.. just my opinion. even still id like to know your light T rig set up and under what conditions do you pull it out?

7-3 LE4 Z-Bone with Morethan PESV 20lb Suffix 832, 1/8oz tungsten, 7in power worms, 6 and 7 in lizards, senkos etc.
Always rigged. Great pond setup. Any time you get in a quiet cove.

I am still testing out a custom K2 714 with an 8.1 Steez SV TW. I'm running 14lb Shooter on it. I can go weightless up to about 3/8oz plus bait comfortably with the rod. Has a more moderate feel on the hookset than I was expecting but, it's been treating me well so far.

The NRX 852c is pretty good with those duties as well.

The SV spool is money for the weightless/lightweight T rigs. I like how it pitches smooth, far and effortless. You can then wind up and bomb the lure without touching the brakes at all.

This niche is important to me. I have a 2016 G.Loomis GLX 842MBR and a Daiwa SV105, spooled with 8 lb. Tatsu fluoro for this purpose. It also works great for weightless plastics.

Been using a Megabass Phase 3 FX711X paired with Steez SV103XS spooled with #30 J Braid to #12 or #16 Fluorocarbon leader.
1/8th T-Rig plastics to weightless worm rod, I call it my finesse flipping stick

NRX 852 / Steez 103 with SV 105 spool / 10 lb Sniper - I like this setup in light to moderate cover.

MB Super Eiger / Alphas SV / 8lb Sniper - I like this setup in light cover or open water. It is perfect for fishing 4" weightless Senkos either wacky or Texas rigged
