I throw the Ned on the Aldebaran BFS XG and the Megabass F3-610 Hein. This combo is absolutely off the charts. Hands down the most comfortable, enjoyable setup I own. I would say a match made in heaven. Just dissapears in hand, super sensitive and both rod and reel are perfectly suited for the weight of the ned rig in my opinion.

What size NED you throwing? I throw the 1/5 and 1/6 Nedzillas so most light spool casting reels can handle them okay...

I actually throw the standard 2-3/4" TRD on the zman 1/8 oz skirted micro finesse jig. I have had great luck with this combo.

Though I do prefer spinning gear for this I have used a Zillion TW SV 6 LB with a Steez XT 7'M to throw a 1/10 oz. Weight was not an issue for casting.

How much does a TRD weigh by itself?
There's a thread of bait weights in the General category. TRD is included. It weighs more than a 3-inch Senko.
