Snell knot

i have a hard time removing the snell knot from my punch hooks when I'm done using them. My hooks have braid on them. Anywon know how to take them off hooks (straight shank)?

I use a razor blade. (box cutter)

There is no real easy way, I use a lighter.

Thanks for the replys. I just found a way to remove them. By using the edge/corner of nail clippers.
