Shore fishing setups
Just wondering how many setups people carry while shore bound? I normally try to keep it at 3 but sometimes will carry 4 depending on what I think be using, and how long I plan on being out.

Depends on the road traveled. Always 2, sometimes 3.

Two or three for me. If I haven't been to a place in a while and I don't know what they are biting on, then I will bring 3. Other than that I bring 2. Most of the time it's a casing rod and a spinning rod.

Re: Shore fishing setups
I just bring one setup. I like to roam and explore and carrying more then one rod is a hassle for me. If I was fishing one spot and know that I won't be moving around much, then I will take 2 setups.

1 or 2.
Re: Shore fishing setups
One setup that provides some flexibility but I'm usually focused on one presentation so I try to keep it simple and minimal.

This is me to a T. I'll add that I usually use a snap too when fishing from the bank.GARRIGA wrote:One setup that provides some flexibility but I'm usually focused on one presentation so I try to keep it simple and minimal.

Re: Shore fishing setups
I'll take a MHF casting rod and a MLXS spinning rod. Those two will overlap enough to cover just about every lure weight from 1/16oz shakey heads to 3/4oz jigs and spinnerbaits.
