either a spinnerbait or a weightless senko. one or the other seems to be the hot ticket usually.

1/16-1/8 Bitys Bugs with 3 inch plastics such as Crazy Flapper 2.8. A 4 inch Swimming Dinger with a pegged 1/8 sinker has also been highly effective.

A senko never fails....

Black and blue jigs are reliable also.

For my pond 4" Dingers in Cotton Candy or Junebug, black and blue or blue and chartreuse spinnerbait (1/8 or compact 1/4oz), Lunkerhunt Kraken squarebill in red craw or bringing sexy shad back. Other lures work but these prove reliable Day in and out.
