Well not really that situation, but I just bought a new gearset for my JDM Morrum ZX 1601 IVCB IV BJ thanks to the American release of the Morrum ZX.
I dropped mine on my front deck about a year after I got it, and the gearset hasn't been as smooth as it should be a for while.
I would guess there might be a great opportunity for tinkering a lot of the ABU reels if all the now in america JDM reels are supported with parts.
At least for Morrum ZX there are now internal parts available to service your reels.
realized one benefit of JDM in the US now...
