Savage Tackle

Post by Gblaze » Thu Mar 15, 2012 9:36 pm

Saw a swimbait from this company for the first time while out for stripers. I was really impressed with its movement and action- the one i saw actually looked amazing. Especially on the dead-sticking it has a languid undulating drop that is killer

Has anyone seen these or have any experience with them here?

I have a few of their 4 Play baits - the walleye pattern is one of my favorite pike/ muskie lures for rivers.
Very good action on these baits, durability is great as well. IMO, one of the very best walleye colors I've
ever fished, haven't caught as many on the perch color.(Although it looks nice too!) You can find these
lures on sale at different times for amazing prices. 8-)

I am also becoming a big Savage Gear fan especially their eel baits (awesome drop shot baits for bass or wacky rigged) and the hard and soft 4plays. I believe Okuma is distributing them in the U.S. so the baits will be easier to find. \:D/
