Flip Straight shank or Ewg Hooks?

what about the gama superling wide gap spring lock hook..ive have some that i tried on senkos and didnt like it..but i didnt try them on flipping baits

I will use both , but the straight shank works the best for me when Im flipping. Pitching I use alot of wide Gap. For straight shank hooks I like the owners I use alot of 4/0 and 5/0 for creature style of baits. Tubes I like EWG and I will use EWG for beavers alot of times too.

i just oder'ed up some owner wide gap plus 4/0's and owner twist lock flipping hook..i love gama superline ewg for thick baits..but im gonna try out there 2 hooks this season and see how they perform

I use a 4/0 Owner straight shank 3x wide gap flippin hook and put my own heat shrink barb on them. The only time I do not use that hook for flipping is if I am flipping a tube. I like that hook better than the BMF.

ok..were u able to snell knot the owner twist lock flipping hook? since the eye straight with the hook

I really like those. Didn't miss a lot of fish and it definitely helped save some plastics.

I haven't used the snell knot much, i mainly use improved inch or Palomar

hmm ok..y do u do threw that much more plastics with a straight shank? is it the barb by the eye tearing up the plastic alot?

o ok..damn i just got these hooks..and the eyes r real close to the shank but i still can get a piece of paper thru them (not welded like superline gamas)..if it ok to still snell knot them then?..

1--whats the best straight shank flipping hook the i can snell knot then guys?

2.is it ok to snell knot the gama ewg superling hook?..will it work correctly?

just ordered paycheck baits hook 4/0..im gonna try that straight shank this season and see how i like it
