I have had this pack of hooks since I was a little kid and I am curious as to what they are worth. The manufacturer is the Van Vleck Hook Company. The hooks are "The Improved Van Vleck Hook" size 2. The packaging is rough, but the hooks are solid except for one of the barbs is bent. I'm not sure how many originally came in the pack, but there are 4 hooks in mine. On the package, is says "PATENTED Jan. 29, '07."
I've found a little info online about the company, but it is very limited. From what I have gathered, they made a lot of saltwater hooks, and these hooks are collectable now. If anyone has any info or can point me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated.
