Southern Appalachian wild brook or speckled trout. Not a big fish by any means but extremely skittish thus making it the target every year of mine during the late fall on small (no wider than 8') stream in the NC mountains.

The mediterranean zebra brown trout, that I fish in eastern France : the most technical fishing I know, especially when sight fishing with dries or very light nymphs. A kinf of "Graal" in fly fishing. Unfortunately these fishes tend to disapear due to the various aggressions and pollutions our french rivers endure... :(

Tarpon fight harder than any fish I have met and bonefish are the fastest.... Hard to beat the salt!

I'm looking forward to doing some trout fishing this year, and bass as well. I'd love to try tarpon fishing sometime. It looks like it would be an awesome way to spend a day!

Mt. small stream brook trout with 1 -3 wt. glass rods and dry fly . Next would be rock fish ( stripers ) in the back marches of the Chesapeake Bay .

It probably sounds lame but I really like bluegill on the fly. A light 4 - 6 weight rod and small foam beetle and it is game on during the warmer months. Sometimes the action is so fast and furious you can get multiple blow ups on the same cast. And when you hook them it always feels like they start swimming and circles
