I was wondering if the swimbait hack using a rivet sleeve inserted at the nose + a treble hook in the body but instead of a treble can I use a ewg or round bend hook ?

Has anybody tried it and what the hook up ratio ?

I'm not sure what you asking or what bait you are using. You need to clarify. You might be able to take the nose sleeve out and use Mend-it to seal the hole. You can then use an Owner Beast twistlock hook. Make sure that you cut a slot at the bottom of your bait if it is thick. This will help your hookup ratio. It won't be easy to use an EWG style hook with the sleeve still in.
