okuma komodo 364 or daiwa lexa 300

I need an reel for my phenix m1 Swimbait rod 1 to 3 oz . I will be throwing an 6 inch triton mikes bull shad and mostly lunker punkers . I will be using 20 pd mono most of the time and need an reel that is decent

I love Daiwa, but in this case, would choose the Komodo.

That's what i was thinking too. It will be my first non daiwa reel if i buy it. Ill get one either way by the end of this week tho.

I have fished the lexa and a bunch of my buddies have them. Awesome awesome reels so far. I prefer it over the curado.

On the 364 - what some like, while others do not, is the non-disengaging levelwind system. The rest of the reel however is built like a sh!t brick house.

I was informed by a TT member that his Toro and NACL reels have the same design non-disengaging levelwind, but tend to cast more freely.
