One of the reasons to use 60# JBHC is to concentrate less on bass and chuck Hudds to bruiser snook and tarpon where 60# fluoro is a better option. Bass fight but not like a pissed off snook or gag headed for cover.

Alex that's an incredible idea! Have you hooked up with one of those (any of those) fantastic monsters on a Hudd yet? What a memorable way to destroy a Hudd! :laugh1: Ken would probably go bonkers seeing a photo of a Tarpon caught on one of his baits, lol.

Been unable to get out and I've been focused on getting all my jigging gear upto snuff but its May and that means bridge Tarpon in the Keys. I'm a stone toss away so just need to find a free afternoon plus a new Tranx. Not enough line capacity on the 401 with proper line. Also about that time snook hit passes and usually see lots of live bait. Time to show them what a Hudd looks like. Sebastian inlet may be in for a surprise.
