3:16 Swimbaits

Post by LITTLE T » Tue Dec 20, 2011 3:19 pm

Their website is all Sold Out on all the types. Do they sell that fast or do they not make them fast enough to keep up with the demand?

They sell out FAST! Mickey usually does a release of swimbaits once a month. You just gotta check the website multiple times a day

Not jsut fast but basically instantly!!!! Some people see them in stock and as soon as they click pay now in their cart it's sold out. So fast fingers and internet will pay off if you really want these. otherwise you can pay double - triple in price if you really want one. I paid double for my FS SS green shad.

Lately Mickey has been relaeasing alot if Mystery baits, so you may get a good color. Wha tI am looking for is the FS CC Bluegill and the cheapest I've seen them go for is $200. ](*,)
I will NEVER sell another 3:16 swimbait again!

Have any of you fished the baby wake trout? Does it get hit?

The baby wake most definitely does get bit! Not just the trout color either.

Pretty much any 3:16 bait gets bit. Any color he offers too. He has gotten quite a following, ask around

If you email them they will give you an aprox. on release date for the next batch. I'm waiting on a 6" Free Style Trout. I might buy a baby wake via that auction site.

Are you getting the floater or slow sinker? Which one is better?

if mickey did that he'd have hundreds if not thousands of orders to fill. good luck in your attempt to get any 3:16 hard baits. great baits, baits get slammed and mickey provides the best customer service.

Yea it's a little difficult to get the hardbaits. I got lucky on the last batch of Wake's that he put up for sale. Make sure you clear your cookies off your browser before looking or else it will say sold out even when he has some up. :crying:

Yea they seem to be hard to find. I am going try the baby wake and freestyle. We have alot of trout streams that pour into our lake. The big bass will lay where the creek meets the lake and wait for a trout to mess up.

Slow sink probably. I'm just getting into swimbaiting as well, mainly be using them for Tiger Musky in trout lakes. I wouldn't say ones better than the other, just depends on the lake and fishing style.
