Which Swimbait River2Sea Kong or Spro BBZ
Which Swimbait River2Sea Kong or Spro BBZ
Hello All.
I'm thinking in pull the trigger in a new Swimbait. My options are River2Sea Kong or Spro BBZ both in sinking pattern, any opinions about those are really appreciated.
Thanks
Hugo

I just got two River2sea Kongs in the mail yesterday. I havent had a chance to get them on the water yet, but they look awesome.

Same here.. just got two Kongs SS the other day from HIs Tackle and have yet to throw them.. so many other baits to try first.. They do have soft fins which look durable, they also include a replacement set.
NJV don't/didn't you have the BBZ? What do you think of it

I sold my BBZ when I got a baby tool, and 1up.
I through the bbz for sometime, and it swam just as nice as the others mentioned.
It doesn't have as much detail as a baby Tool
I get nervous throwing $100 lures out into the horizon lately.
This fall I'm going to throw the Tool, and 1up alot more. This summer has been all wakebaits and matt lures.

Thanks a lot for your replies guys.
I think I'm going to give it a try to those Kongs. Lets see what happens.

I really like the action of the BBZ1 and customer service is TOP NOTCH! Bring your big stick throwing this pig. It's a heavier bait. I know Sully just picked a sinker Kong, waiting to get a report. They do like very nice.

I don't have the Kong but the BBZ produce my 2nd best fish this year. Every fish I got on any of them have been above 4 lbs. I just love the thing

The action on the BBZ is sick! I'm still fishless on it but I'm drawn to it.
The kong looks as if it's constructed similarly. The nice thing about the kong is it comes in 2 sizes. They also come with a set of replacable fins and tail. (Not that it's a big deal because a quick call to spro and they send them out free as well).
When the wifey gets home and Daddy day care ends I may head over to a local pond just to see the swimming action. I'll report back if I do.
