Used Shimano Aldeberan MGL 51 - Questions

I picked up a used Shimano Aldeberan MGL 51.

It's used, but the braking is different, see pics. I've not seen this before the braking. It has 12 extra strong magnets that I pulled off for now. Previous owner from what I learned modded it to this braking.

Checking out the reel, seems all to be working great, only seems external cosmetics with scratches. Turning the handle all seems smooth.

Anyone in the U.S. airbrush reels? I may look into doing that.

It's not a shallow BFS spool, just It's stock spool.

I'd like to ask you, what pound braid line should I use?
