Haven't sent anything to Shimano in many many years. Have a Calais DC that has a stuck clutch so can't get it into freespool. Wondering if this reel is still covered by the Platinum Service/if Shimano still has parts for this reel?
Also have a JDM Met MGL HG that is getting a tiny bit crunchy. Is this one fine to send in since it has a USDM model? I assume they are the same.
