Shimano neoprene reel cover for Tranx, Bantam MGL

Post by 73 Stags Leap » Thu Dec 06, 2018 12:07 am

Looked at a few forums and there seems to be little agreement as to which size Shimano reel cover fits the Tranx 300 (some say small, some say medium). Same goes for the Bantam MGL. Some say the small bait-caster size, some say the small round. Neither reel is listed on the Shimano cover size chart. Bantam 1, what say you? Thanks.

I use a small on my Bantam but it is a stretch. I think you would need the medium for the Tranx.

The small should be fine for the Bantam. I haven't tried any of the covers on the Tranx. I am at our SC office until next week. I will try next week when I am back in CA.

The medium fits the 300 Tranx snugly. The large is fits rather sloppily.
