Need to find parts for new Reel

Post by fishing_tx » Fri Nov 09, 2018 1:47 pm

So, like an idiot, I forgot to go lefty-tighty on my CUDC151HG. Ended up scratching the handle, and dropped and the plastic top cover on the frame (above the level wind) cracked.

I don't know where to get parts to fix this. Can you help?
Transducers are great for finding fish; when torn off the transom, it's shallow enough.

If the top cover broke then the frame will need to be replaced. That cover is not available as a separate item. If this is the case you will need to send the reel in for repair.

You can order parts two ways:

https://fishshop.shimano.com/

or call 877-577-0600

Thanks, I'll send it in.

Let the suits know that a sacrificial plastic trim piece should not be designed as a frame component. That seems wasteful.
