Dimensions

Post by 5bites » Wed Aug 22, 2018 6:45 am

Are dimensions available somewhere? Height from the foot to the top and also length would be very helpful information. I looked but couldn’t find it.

I would need to know which reel model so i can measure it or try to find the info. We have never published that info as there has been virtually zero requests for that data.

With the tons of online buying now it would definitely help customers make a good comparison between reels. For example the Chronarch vs Metanium. I have a Chronarch mgl and would like to make a guesstimation on how a Metanium would feel in comparison. I don’t know, it just seems like a helpful bit of information that could be published on the Shimano website.

I will see if I can get the dimensions for you. The Metanium should be slightly shorter in overall height.

I was just told that dimensions like this are not to be given out. This is a corporate rule. It is OK for a cons umber to measure and post the results, but I am not authorized to do so. Sorry about that.

Hmmm that’s a shame considering how useful it could be. Maybe the TT guys can put this in their reviews?

I appreciate your time and you trying regardless.

You might try calling the Tackle Trap and asking their reel service guy.
