Postby Real Pudd legend » Sat Jun 02, 2018 4:45 pm

I wanted to bring my reel in for a service , I believe it needs new gears and I would like to change out the thumb bar. Was just wondering if these parts are in stock

Thankyou

Awesome ,

I’ll drive down there on Monday and walk it in, hopefully they can take care of it and make it alive again!

Get the brass gears out of the Curado 50e, it'll make the reel heavier but by god they're heaps better than the aluminium main gear!

Id still call first. A number of times I went to stores based off their site saying in stock only to leave empty handed.

Does Shimano still have Curado 51E brass gears in stock? This for the Chronarch 51mg. Thanks.

Gears from the E model will not work in the Chronarch 50/51MG. They shared gears with the Curado 100/101 models. These parts have been discontinued.

Sorry I hi-jacked thread when I saw what I assumed was Chronarch MG. Take care.

I'm sure this is previously covered, but can I get 7.7 brass gears for my 50e Curado? If so, How much? Can any certified shimano service place put them in?

Do the Core mg7 gears fit the Curado 50e? Or any other gear sets work? And other than the gear set any other parts needed?
