Bantam,Chronarch MGL Frame Material?

Post by brownhl » Fri May 04, 2018 7:53 am

Bantam, what the heck is the material of frame on this reel? Just saw an idiot on another site refer to it as "plastic" , but I know that is not the case.

It is a composite material and that is all I have been told. It is not a true "plastic".

Get one and put it to the test. You will forget that "plastic" talk pretty quick. The only shared trait of that composite material with plastic is the slick, lightweight feel. I use mine for finesse, but some Tacklewarehouse guys were chunking A-rigs with heavy braid not long ago on a video. It's a tough damn composite and I have never felt the flex that some claimed existed.

Oh, I have had one for a year and love it. I figured it was a composition material of some type.
