Curado K SVS Question
The small SVS dial on the exterior of the reel, can that bee loosened from the back screw? Mine is tight and hard to turn. Please advise.
Re: Curado K SVS Question
Had the same kind of problem with the aldebaran bfs, at first it was hard to turn the dial, but it loosened up a bit after some use.
Re: Curado K SVS Question
I bought two, both are hard as rock to turn. Would like to know too.
Re: Curado K SVS Question
Turn the Dial from 1 to 6 and back down to 1, do that several times, it will loosen up. Also, if the reel sits for awhile, then you go out to fish again, it might get stiff, just turn the dial back and forth a couple of times and your good. Better it be stiff then too loose.
Re: Curado K SVS Question
The shim under the screw that holds the dial down can be sanded down some to adjust tension. We have made a slight change to this shim to prevent them from being ultra tight. Most of the time you can loosen the screw, run the dial back and forth and tighten the screw down again. This will loosen it up. There is an o-ring that also provides tension. If you are having issues you can send the reel to us for repair. We will turn it around quickly and get the reel back to you.
