Does anyone know what size bearing I need for the levelwind on a Curado K? Or better yet, is it the same size bearing that the Ch/Met MGL uses?

Yes sir. It's also the same size bearing that's in your knobs. 4x7x2.5

That's what I was expecting but I wanted to make sure. I'm guessing you've already done a few of these Rock.

I haven't taken the knobs off any of my K's yet. Is the factory configuration 1 bearing and 1 bushing on the knobs?

Yes sir. I've done quite a few here locally. The 200k is a pretty big hit around here where the lower end tier of reels shines. Most are using them for Cats of all things lol

On the 200K, it's two bushings per knob unfortunately. You'll need 5 total to replace all the bushings.

I'm looking to do 3 Curado K's and a ChMGL. Now to find the best deal around on 18 of these bearings.

Installing the bearing on the worm shaft will not gain you much difference in feeling. Trust me I have tried it. But to each his own...
