Just replaced my new but buzzing 13 Met 6.2 aluminium drive gear with a new brass drive gear from the Curado K, keeping the new original 13 Met pinion gear. Wow! No time on the water with it, but now as smooth as my Conquest 100HG. Noticed that the Curado drive gear is thinner than the original 13 Met drive gear. I wonder whether this makes it track smoother on the pinion? A terrific upgrade, the reel is now super fluid to crank with absolutely zero vibration.

The Levelwind pawl in the MGL looks to be ceramic

Been telling people this for some time. One guy on another forum in particular. Thinks he knows all about Shimanos because he works in a reel repair sweat shop.

I still don't know what part it is on the schematics

The pawl parts numbers:

BNT5383 for Curado 200K models

BNT5115 For Metanium MGL and Chronarch MGL

Any reason these wouldn't work in a '15 Metanium DC?

Someone posted that the one from the Curado K works. I haven't tried it nor have I found a reason to change it.

Well, I have 4 gear sets currently ordered! 2 for Met MGLs, 1 for a '15 Met DC and 1 of the Curado 70 5.5s to go into a Scorpion 70. Big thanks to TTT for putting together all these different gear set swaps, click drag conversions, etc. for us!
