Over 9foot expride rods?

Can you give me any information on the long expride rods? Interested in actions and uses.

There is one model for deep cranks, one for swimbaits, one for punching and a spinning rod for the smallmouth guys dragging tubes or drop shot with the heavier weights.

That's the one I'm most excited about. What would be a good pairing for it? One of the new exsence reels?

Any of the spinning reels will be fine. Stradic, Stradic CI4, Sustain, Exsence, Stella.

On the spinner, where is rod joined? in the middle or at the handle (like the 2pc trevala) or close to the handle?

It should be near the handle like the other models.

Thanks Bantam1 - I am a saltwater guy so I am thinking that could be really cool for spooky baby tarpon, clear water reds, or even permit fishing on calm days where long casts with 5# PP are required so long as the rod is strong hence the question regarding the ferrule location.

The connection and the blanks are very strong on the Expride rods.
