Conquest50 and 50S
Seems like the only difference is the spool and the gear ratio, is this correct? Oh, and the handle, but Im not worried about that,

Re: Conquest50 and 50S
Gear ratio should be the same at 6.2:1
Differences are the handle, spool and brake block/assembly.

You know what, youre right about the gear ratio. For some reason i was thinking that my 50 was a 5.8 ratio. I was thinking to get the S and swap out the spool. Thanks for knocking that sense into me.igl00jx wrote:Gear ratio should be the same at 6.2:1

Re: Conquest50 and 50S
I'm not sure but, I think the S is not directly compatible with the other Conquest 50 spools. A slight modification would be needed I thinkLgMouthGambler wrote:You know what, youre right about the gear ratio. For some reason i was thinking that my 50 was a 5.8 ratio. Re: Conquest50 and 50S
yes, would require dedicated brake 'drums' (different drum diameter).
Re: Conquest50 and 50S
Yes you would need the spool and the brake raceway to complete the change. The ring diameters are not the same.
