Question re the Nasci reel
Question re the Nasci reel
Read a couple of reviews where the guys said "this reel has no anti-reverse" . What the heck are they talking about, non at all?

Re: Question re the Nasci reel
Has a 'anti reverse' but doesnt come with the lever to disengage the anti reverse, like previous models did.
I can see this inclusion in cars in the short future, forward backward engineering imho.

Re: Question re the Nasci reel
so you couldn't back reel if you felt the need come up?
Re: Question re the Nasci reel
Thinking about buying this reel. Is it a good product. The price looks great.
Re: Question re the Nasci reel
The anti reverse switch was eliminated because it is a water entry point. These reels are used in the inshore markets as well as freshwater markets. Back reeling is an old tactic that really isn't needed today in my opinion. The reels have great drag systems and if you set them correctly there is no need to back reel.

Thank you Dan.
Re: Question re the Nasci reel
I have the 2500 version.
It's very smooth and seems to function well.
