Drag star choice for Chronarch 50e

Post by cornmuse » Sun May 28, 2017 4:20 am

So far I've found an Avail drag star for a 50E that will accommodate an offset handle. What other choices are out there? I added a Basszone handle and knobs, but the handle doesn't clear the stock drag star. Thanks for any help.

Have you tried the Core 50/Aldebaran MG star? You will need the nut as well, but it may clear. Its much thinner.

You can also use a spacer. I had to do this with all my Core/09Met's that I put the new CHMGL 96mm handles on. Two thin spacers was all it took.

I'm using the Core 51 star on my Curado 51E with a swept handle off a Chronarch CI4 and it works fine. Looks great, has full adjustment, but does slightly rub, though it hasn't been enough to scratch anything. If your handle is swept more than that handle, I doubt it would work.
