Are there going to be new Crucial rods?
I hope so. Hoping for cork and a better overall design. I like the first generation Crucials more than the current offerings.

I agree with you 100%, hope to see them go back to cork myself. Although I've heard nothing "official" regarding new Crucial rods, all signs point that direction. I'm pretty excited to find out what Shimano has coming at ICAST this year.

I had crucial cork handle drop shot rod it was the best

I had a 6'8" cork crucial drop shot spinning and it was an awesome rod. Until I tried lift a fish over some vegetation. It snapped and I upgraded to a black Cumara with the trade-in. I actually liked the Crucial dropshot better than the Cumara that replaced it. I also had a cork TC4 Crucial crankbait rod too. Here's hoping that Shimano keeps the train rolling and deliver us some new cork Crucials at ICast.

At 34 seconds there is a gray blank and green Loomis logo...what rod is that?
