Bantam I sent one of my saltwater reels (sustain 8000) to shimano back on may 9th , do they contact by email that they received the reel ? I haven't heard anything, is that the norm ?

Typically we will not contact you to let you know we have received the reel. Our current turnaround time for repairs is about 4 weeks.
