Curado 300DSV Question

I have this reel and love it for swimbait fishing, but I have been experiencing some problems while fighting fish. It seems the reel is coming loose on my Loomis SWBR955C and no matter how much I crank it down it still is loose. Any ideas to what I can to do to fix this issue?

Me too.....and it was on a loomis too I don't remember the model, I know it was a hot shot tho. It does the same on my Musky model rod.
But when I put it on my Crucial swimbait special it matches perfectly.
I would also like to know if anything can be done to have it sit nice and firm....

Contact GLoomis and they will provide you with the shims for the reel foot. The reel seat on some of their rods is slightly larger than the one we use. They will send the shims to you at no charge
