Will Jeremy Sweet be available for some Q&A?

Post by Shimano man » Thu Jul 12, 2007 1:48 pm

Great job at Icast, the reels look Great! Sure would like to get some questions answered from Mr. Sweet, if he has any time.
some starter questions - 08' Stella USA vs 07'Stella JDM Any difference? Same color? Same gears? I know with the US model you get the platinum warranty and the finest customer service around.Anything else different?
P.S. the sustain looks awesome too!
Thanks,
Regards

He will be in meetings this week with the engineers from Shimano Japan. I will ask him when he will have time and I will give everyone on this board notice of the day and time he will be available.

I am going to be meeting with him today at some point. I know he will be out of the office all of next week. We will try to find a date and time where he will be available for Q&A. I will also be getting some answers to some of the questions that I do not have answers for right now. I will let you know as sson as I know more.

OK Jeremy had about 5 minutes to spend with me and here is the answer.

The new Stella FD and the JDM version are now the same. There is no difference between the two.

If the Stella FD and the JDM version, 07 Stella, are now the same, was there an issue with the JDM version during early release and what was the cause and resolution. Thank you.
