Daiwa Drag Star Swaps

Post by poisonokie » Wed Oct 16, 2019 8:07 pm

Anyone know if it's possible to install a newer style two piece drag star on a reel with an older one piece design? Like if I get the square nut and spring from Daiwa or wherever, can I install it on an Alphas or OG Zillion? Thanks.
This is the way.

And yes, I realize I could just test this myself, but it's easier just to create a new topic, lol.

I have one on an older TD-S. No-go on the Alphas, but will work on a Zillion and an SS SV.
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.
